Regulating the Piano in Front of You with John von Rohr, RPT
Piano makers have their specs and regulation routines, but they are often somewhat rigid and assume that the piano you have is in near new condition. Using an outline written for technicians working for me in institutional settings on pianos in various conditions, I will walk through the steps of a routine regulation and all the little decisions involved in the process of adopting the specs to that piano.
John von Rohr is the concert technician for the Boston Symphony Orchestra as well as Wellesley College and many other notable institutions.
