This month's meeting will be held on a Sunday afternoon -- grab some piano friends, jump in the car, and head on up to Lowell, Mass! Jude Reveley plays host and teaches out of his shop and business: Absolute Piano Restoration. He's got a great class "lined up" (pun intended!), all about installation of new parts - read the full description below!

Line It Up!: The Efficient Installation of New Parts, with Jude Reveley

Complete tone regulation may be understood in terms of five types of manipulation: cleaning, friction management, alignment, mechanical adjustments, and voicing. Alignment is a critical step in the process and can be the most time consuming. If it is not done well, we lose the entire foundation of our work. Nowhere is this more apparent than when installing new parts. The process presented here utilizes the piano’s design to guide you through the circle of refinement to maximize efficiency with an emphasis on alignment, a time-consuming aspect critical to the foundation of tone regulation.

ICYMI... October's "Trunk or Treat" Technician's Car Kit Showcase was great -- we saw set-ups from several different members, giving everyone great ideas for organization and hauling options!
