Bob Beck
Now a 35 year RPT, Bob Beck began his long fascination with the piano as a young child. To many years as a student of the instrument, Bob added a Diploma from the New York Trade School in the Piano Crafts/Tuning Department. Bob also completed a Liberal Arts Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. Piano service helped to fund these efforts.

After serving with the United States Marine Corp. in Vietnam, Bob opened a Sales/Service business in New Jersey. During this period came the offer to join the Piano Division of Kimball International. After 13 years with this company, in positions leading to General Manger, Bob left to join Steinway & Sons in New York as Manufacturing Manager. After the sale of the company, Bob returned to self employment operating a Piano Service/Consulting business.

Engagements with Sohmer/Pratt Read, Baldwin, Kawai, Samick, Fandrich Pianos and the American Piano Supply, as well as Service/Rebuilding, have been the activities leading up to retirement in 2003.

Bob still does some consulting and home service work, while enjoying more time with music and related computer activities.
